Pocomoke High School, located near the Cyprus lined Pocomoke River, is a small rural school that enjoys unprecedented support and pride from the surrounding community. 1999 Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, 1998 Governor's Green School, 2009 State Champions in Girls' Field Hockey, received full accreditation from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, 2009 State Champions in Girls Softball, MCJROTC Honors School 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
