Pocomoke High School, located near the Cyprus lined Pocomoke River, is a small rural school that enjoys unprecedented support and pride from the surrounding community. Home of Pride, Honor, and Scholarship, PHS students excel in academics and in extracurricular activities. A Blue Ribbon School of Excellence and a Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies (PBIS) School, PHS endeavors to prepare all students to compete intellectually and vocationally in an ever-changing global society.

School Highlights and Awards
1999 Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, 1998 Governor's Green School, 2010 State Champions in Girls' Field Hockey, received full accreditation from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools through 2018, 2009 State Champions in Girls Softball, MCJROTC Honors School 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009. The Class of 2011 was offered 2.1 million dollars in merit-based scholarships and awards.
