Pocomoke Middle School is located in Pocomoke City on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in Worcester County. Fifty-three professional staff members and twenty-eight support staff members serve 400 students in grades 4 through 8. The school effectively operates both an elementary program and a middle school program. Our school theme is "Respect + Responsibility = Pocomoke Pride!" Our school motto is "We are a school of readers and achievers!" Pocomoke Middle School received full accreditation by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools in Spring 2004.
