At Worcester Technical High School (WTHS), all students are challenged to prepare today for tomorrow. The school is centrally located in Newark, Maryland and serves students in grades 9 through 12 enrolled in the three area high schools who elect to pursue a certificate in a career field as well as academic preparation for college. There are 21 programs of study at WTHS, including the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Academy. State of the art technology used in business and industry is taught in all program areas. Students at WTHS have received regional, state, and national recognition for skill and leadership performance. Together, students, parents, and teachers set high expectations for students to achieve academically, technically, and socially. The motto of Worcester Technical High School is "Teaching the Whole Student."

New School Opened in 2008 The new 139,077 square-foot facility enables the school to expand its offerings and capacity.
